Five product photos that sell, shot on a phone

No studio needed. A window, a sheet of paper and these angles are enough to start.

Phone product photography setup near a bright window

The clean hero shot

Place the product near a window, turn off overhead lights and use a plain background. The first image should show exactly what the customer is buying without visual noise.

Crop consistently across the catalog so product cards feel organized and premium.

The scale shot

Show the product beside a hand, table setting, bag or everyday object. Scale reduces uncertainty, especially for handmade products, food, accessories and gifts.

The detail shot

Close-up images help customers judge texture, material and quality. Use detail shots to show stitching, glaze, packaging, ingredients or finish.

The use-case shot

Show the product in the moment where the customer wants it: on a desk, in a kitchen, at a table, in a gift box or worn in natural light. This turns a listing into a story.
